Jessica Claycomb
Jessica Claycomb received a BA in dance form Sacramento State University. Originally from Albuquerque, NM, she started dancing at the tender age of three years old. Evolving into cheerleading and eventually competition cheerleading, she won several awards and accolades from her peers. After her family moved to the Sacramento area in 1992, her pursuit of her passion of dance was temporarily interrupted. Becoming a dance major in collage gave her the ability and knowledge to accept a position as a dance teacher at a local dance studio. She fully enjoys teaching her students who range from three years old and up who know her as “Miss Jay.” She has choreographed a senior piece at Sacramento State University, numerous summer recitals as well as The Nutcracker. Jessica teaches ballet, tap, jazz and hip hop. She has been involved in several productions at Sacramento State University including the Carol Channing Show (2007), Faculty Show (2006/07) and Senior Dance Concert (2007/08). |
