Creative Movement 1(3+) & Creative Movement 2 (4+)
A fun introductory class that will introduce students to dance. Creative movement and activities help introduce the beginning fundamentals of ballet, jazz and tumbling. Students also play games which enhance cognitive and social development and learn classroom etiquette.

Pre Ballet (4+)

This introductory dance class focuses on the basic dance techniques of ballet. It is a more technique based class for young students. Students will learn basic ballet positions, short dances and play games that enhance cognitive and social development and prepare them for futher dance training.

Ballet/Tap (6+)

This class focuses on the basic dance techniques of ballet & tap. In this class students will be introduced to basic ballet fundamentals, including body alignment, vocabulary, and basic positions of the feet and arms. In tap, students will be introduced to basic rhythms, steps and proper positions of the feet & arms.Team work and games will enhance cognitive & social development. Students will also learn French vocabulary and classroom etiquette.

Ballet/Jazz (6+)
Dance class focuses on the basic dance techniques of ballet & Jazz. In this class students will be introduced to basic ballet fundamentals, including body alignment, vocabulary, and basic positions of the feet and arms. In jazz, students will be introduced to basic jazz postitions, steps and proper positions of the feet & arms.Team work and games will enhance cognitive & social development. Students will also learn French vocabulary and classroom etiquette.

Ballet
Ballet I/II (recommended 9+)This class will be centered on beginning as well as intermediate dance technique. Students will move through barre, center work, & progressions which will help with body control and alignment. It will include basic turns, jumps, & leaps. French vocabulary and classroom etiquette will be included. Instructor recommends concurrent enrollment in the stretch and strength training class.
Ballet II/III (recommended 12+)This class will include students with no previous training as well as those with several years of experience. Students will advance with their own ability levels through intermediate barre, center work, and progressions. Being a framework for various other types of dance, this class will help with body control, alignment, and rotation.  Students will learn the classical style of ballet through academic techniques and French terminology. There is a heavy focus of posture, alignment and placement of the feet to insure proper development for the upper grades and the prepaire for pointe work.Instructor highly recommends concurrent enrollment in the stretch and strength training class.
Ballet II/III/IV (recommended 14+)This class will include students with previous training including those with several years of experience. Students will advance with their own ability levels through intermediate and advanced barre, center work, and progressions. It is a technically demanding course to prepare the student for pre pointe and pointe technique. Students will advance to pointe for the second half of the class when ready. Being a framework for various other types of dance, this class will help with body control, alignment, and vocabulary.  Students will learn the classical style of ballet through academic techniques and French terminology. Instructor highly recommends concurrent enrollment in the stretch and strength training class.

Hip-Hop & Jazz
Hip-Hop/Jazz (6+) This class is designed as an introduction to basic jazz technique and high energy basic hip hop, the latest trends, & exciting dancing moves, focusing on basic jazz positions, turns, jumps, & leaps. Students will also learn center and locomotor progressions as well as proper stretching techniques to enhance strength & flexibility. All movement will be modest & age appropriate. All music will be free of questionable lyrics.It is strongly recommended that Hip Hop/Jazz students take a ballet or stretch and strength class.

Hip-Hop/Jazz (9+) This class will cover Hip-Hop and jazz fundamentals for the beginning jazz dancer, but will be taught at an intermediate level. While some students have no prior dance training, others will have several years of experience. Students will advance with their own ability levels through center work & progressions. Past hip hop experience is great, but even beginners will have a blast in this fast paced, high energy dance class which introduces basic hip hop, the latest trends & exciting dancing moves. Dance conditioning will be introduced to strengthen the body for more advanced hip-hip training. All movement will be modest & age appropriate. All music will be free of questionable lyrics.It is strongly recommended that Hip Hop/Jazz students take a ballet or stretch and strength class.

Hip-Hop (12+)This high energy dance class will go more in depth with hip-hop training, including the latest dance trends and dancing moves. This class is great for the student who just wants to come & get funky as well as the serious dancer looking to improve their hip hop skills. All movement will be modest & age appropriate. All music will be free of questionable lyrics.

Jazz (12+)This class will cover jazz fundamentals for the beginning jazz dancer as well as intermediate jazz technique for the experienced jazz dancer. Students will advance with their own ability levels through center work and progressions. It is strongly recommended that Jazz students take a ballet and stretch and strength class.

Jazz (14+)This is an intermediate and advanced jazz class taylored to the serious as well as recreational dancer. Students will range from beginning through advanced, however the class will be taught at the intermediate/advanced level. Students will advance at their own pace. Dancers will improve their strength and technique through across the floor exercises, which lead to advanced dance combinations.  It is strongly recommended that Jazz students take a ballet and stretch and strength class.

Theatre, Social Dance, & Zumba

Theatre Dance- This class uses a all dance styles as a base. Solo, duet, trio, and ensemble numbers help students to learn proper stage use and etiquette. This class is a part of MTC's 360 Triple Threat Series. Students must be enrolled in program to participate in the Theatre Dance Class. MTC 360 - Dance, Act, Sing - Building skills and confidence for a lifetime.

Social Dance Classes 16+ - Each month students will focus on a different style of dance. Styles include swing, traditional waltz and foxtrot and the Latin styles of salsa and tengo. Proper technique and etiquette of each dance style will be the focus of this upbeat and fun class. Wedding preparation is available through our wedding workshops too.

Zumba Classes all ages - join the latest craze in fitness with Zumba! Fun, high energy latin dance based fitness class geared towards non-dancers and dancers. It a great way to get in shape.

Stretch and Strength Training for Dancers - all ages - Not just for dancers, this class incorporates all of the best dance stretches, routines that concentrate on total body sculpting, and original dance choreography combinations set to music.  Floor exercises complete the cool down with an emphasis on toning the abdominal and glut muscles from a dancers perspective. This class is a fun, exhilarating, unique overall body workout.

Class Tuition

30 min. Class - $30.00 per month

45 min. Class - $45.00 per month

1 Hour Class - $60.00 per month

1.5 Hour Class - $90 per month

Two 45/1hr. classes - $105.00 per month

Three 45/1hr. Classes - $135 per month

Four 45/1hr. Classes - $165 per month

Five or More 45/1hr. - $180.00 per month

Drop in Rates - $15.00 with school ID - $18 without school ID

Annual Registration - $25 (max. of $50 per family)

Dress Code for Classes:

A modest dress code is strictly enforced by all students and teachers at the studio. All clothing must be modest, with no spaghetti straps unless a leotard or sports bra is worn underneath. There are to be no bare midriffs. Sports bras are required ages 9+ or otherwise needed for modesty. All costumes will model these same guidelines and will be age appropriate. The following guidelines should be followed when dressing for class:

All Classes: Hair must be secured off the face and neck. No Jewelry. No outside shoes. Do not wear your dance shoes outside, on the street, in the parking lot, etc. They are for the dance floor only!

Combination Classes: Any color leotard and tights. Please no jewelry & no baggy attire. Students may wear ballet or jazz shoes to class, but must have tap shoes for tap classes.

Ballet: Ballet students must wear a black leotard and pink tights and ballet shoes to class. Hair must be pulled back in a bun (off face). Ballet skirts, warm-ups ok.

Jazz Classes: Leotard and tights of any color or comfortable dance clothes to move in. Shorts over leotard ok. Jazz pants ok. Jazz shoes are required.

Hip Hop Classes: Comfortable clothes to move in. Please no jeans, no skirts, and no jewelry. Students must wear jazz shoes or jazz sneakers. No street shoes. Hair must be secured off the face and neck.

Adult Classes: Jazz, comfortable dance clothes to move in. Ballet class requires black leotard and pink tights, Ballet skirts and warm-ups ok. Ballet shoes required for ballet class. Jazz shoes required for jazz class. 

Tap Classes: Leotard and tights of any color. Dance shorts may be worn over leotards. Dance (jazz) pants ok. Tap shoes are required.

Theater Classes: Comfortable dance clothes to move in. Ballet or Jazz shoes required. No jeans or skirts please.

Social Dance Classes: Comfortable clothes to move in. White soled shoes only. Do not wear shoes in the street, parking lot, to school etc. Shoes should be for dance floor only.

Zumba Classes: Comfortable fitness clothes to move in. No jeans or skirts please.

Stretch & Strength Training Classes: Comfortable fitness clothes or leotard and tights of any color. Shorts over leotard ok. Jazz pants ok. Ballet Shoes highly recommended.
